The Homeowner
Back in August of 2020, we had the pleasure of speaking with Kathy, a homeowner from Salut. Saint Marie who was interested in getting some more information about how solar could benefit her home. Our team diligently analyzed her power consumption and roof conditions and gave her a design that could offset more than 100% of the energy consumption with only 15 Q-Cell 430-Watt panels. This is Kathy’s Solar X success story.
The Process
Once we answered all the questions that Kathy had about her system, she submitted her solar application with us and we began the process of transitioning her home over to solar energy. From then on, our project management team took over to schedule the site inspection, obtain permits, approvals, and procuring materials for the install. We used 15 German Engineered Q-Cell Panels rated at 430 W capacity that was coupled to a 5 kW Huawei inverter for converting the DC power produced by the solar panels to AC. All the required materials such as racking, rails, and critter guards were ordered by our technical team to make sure they arrived on site before the installation.

The Equipment
