Product Highlights
Hybrid Storage in a Single Inverter
The S6-EH1P is a DC-coupled hybrid inverter that runs your solar and your battery from one unit. It can be DC-coupled to a range of battery brands, and battery can be added after installation, so a solar-only system today can become a storage system later without replacing the inverter.
Grid-Forming Backup Power
As a grid-forming inverter, the S6-EH1P keeps essential loads running during a grid outage, delivering up to 11.4 kW (50 A) of continuous backup and 76 A for ten seconds to help start motor loads. Solar X designs the backup subpanel around the loads that matter most to your home.
Flexible, Expandable Battery Support
The inverter supports multiple battery brands and up to 150 kWh of storage per inverter, and units can be paralleled to add capacity. That flexibility lets Solar X size storage to your actual consumption rather than a fixed, single-brand stack.
Built for North American Code
The S6-EH1P is certified to UL1741 SA/SB and UL9540, supports module-level rapid shutdown (PVRSS), and meets IEEE 1547, Rule 21, and Hawaii Rule 14H interconnection requirements, so it clears utility and ESA review across the markets Solar X serves.
Technical Specifications
The table below reflects the high-voltage S6-EH1P K-H-US series. Solis also offers a low-voltage S6-EH1P K-L-PLUS version for 48 V / 51.2 V batteries such as the Renon Xcellent Plus; its specifications are in the low-voltage datasheet in the Documentation section. Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer and are subject to change without notice, and full electrical specifications, dimensions, efficiency, temperature range, and warranty terms are in the official datasheets. Final equipment is confirmed at contract and post inspection design.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Solis S6 hybrid inverter?
It is the Solis S6-EH1P, a single-phase high-voltage residential hybrid storage inverter available from 3.8 kW up to 11.4 kW. It runs solar and battery from one DC-coupled unit and provides grid-forming backup during outages.
How much backup power does it provide?
As a grid-forming inverter it delivers up to 11.4 kW (50 A) of continuous backup power during a grid outage, with 76 A available for ten seconds to help start motor loads. Solar X designs the backup subpanel around your priority loads.
How much battery can it support?
The S6-EH1P is DC-coupled and supports multiple battery brands, up to 150 kWh of storage per inverter, and battery can be added after installation. Units can also be paralleled to add capacity.
Is it certified for installation in Canada and the US?
Yes. It is certified to UL1741 SA/SB and UL9540, supports module-level rapid shutdown, and meets IEEE 1547, Rule 21, and HECO Rule 14H interconnection standards recognized across North America.
What is the difference between the high-voltage and low-voltage Solis S6?
The S6-EH1P comes in a high-voltage version (K-H-US) for high-voltage battery stacks and a low-voltage version (K-L-PLUS) for 48 V or 51.2 V batteries such as the Renon Xcellent Plus. Both are single-phase hybrid inverters, and Solar X selects the right version for your battery. Datasheets for both are in the Documentation section.
Where can I see the full electrical specifications?
The complete electrical specifications, dimensions, efficiency, temperature range, and warranty terms are in the official Solis S6-EH1P datasheets (high-voltage and low-voltage), linked in the Documentation section on this page.
